Come visit us at Village Yarns to touch and be inspired by this delightful blend of 65% Wool and 35% Silk. Our shipment contained the 2ply quality which they recommend to be knitted on a 4mm needle, achieving 26st/4". This of course is a suggested needle size and gauge. The 2ply Woolie Silk skeins have 400m/100g, making the yardage very suitable for socks. Socks you would work on 2.5mm thru 3mm, depending on how tight or loose a tension you have. Two skeins would knit a wonderful Pashmina-style scarf for wearing over jackets when the fall weather arrives.
