Prism Yarn Collection Fall 2007 Part 1: Neat Stuff, Velvet, Pearls and Fall Fantastic Book #42

Greetings!

For Fall 2007 Village Yarns continues our long-standing relationship with Prism Yarns by introducing 15 new yarn qualities and new patterns for Fall 2007. We invite you to Village Yarns in Toronto to view our complete Prism Hand Dyed Yarn Collection for fall 2007.

We began our relationship with Prism Yarns years ago by introducing the Prism Stuff line of hand dyed & hand tied exotic fibre assortments.

This includes Light Stuff, Cool Stuff, Wild Stuff and Impressions.

New! Prism Neat Stuff at Village Yarns, Toronto.
Prism Neat Stuff is the newest addition to the Stuff Line of hand knitting yarns.

Developed by Laura Bryant, Creative Director of Prism, Neat Stuff is composed of 30-40 yarn textures without any eyelash or metallic yarn components. The subtle member of the Stuff yarn collection, Neat Stuff is available in 7 colourways, including the newest addition for Fall 2007 - Moss.

New! Prism Pearls at Village Yarns.
Prism Pearls is a pretty chained cotton and rayon blend touched with a bit of mother of pearl.

The cotton and rayon take the dye, leaving the pearl thread untouched and shining. The rayon dyes a bit more intensely than the cotton, lending a mildly tweedy look to the colors.

The hand of the yarn when knit is firm and cool to the touch. This is a great yarn for classic color work, textured stitches and mitered squares. The perfect alternative to animal fibres for those of you with allergies or body temperature fluctuations.

New! Prism Velvet at Village Yarns.
Making it's debut for Fall 2007, Prism Velvet is a light as air ribbon yarn that has one chenille edge. This construction techniques means no worming of stitches after being knit.

When knitted, the fabric acquires an incredibly plush, soft hand reminiscent of your favorite cozy towels or bathrobe--but with more elegance and sophistication!

When worked on a larger needle or more openly with long stitches or in eyelet designs, the combination of ribbon and chenille shows through even more.
